Lessons at Killer Drums Studio focus on the overall uplifting of the student‘s mind, body, and soul. I encourage individuality for all my students. My purpose is to help them create and achieve the goals they have set for themselves.
FOCUS
It all begins with practice. To get better at any skill takes a lot of hard-work, and an abundance of focus. But having a coach makes it a little easier. A good coach is able to see your fullest potential, tap into your talent, and push you to the next level. Killer Drums’ teaching method is a culmination of years of practice, relentless dedication to the arts, musical education, and its therapeutic properties. Through this, Karl brings a breath of fresh air to make drum lessons a synergistic learning experience. Providing inspiration, instilling a strong work ethic, and coaching positive life skills while rocking out on the drums and making music.

Over 10,000 hours of practice and 20+ years sitting behind the drum kit. This experience is invaluable, and it takes time to grow. There are no shortcuts to your drumming journey, and everyone’s journey is unique. MY PHILOSOPHY
Music is an essential part of the human experience. It should be a part of everyone’s education. Practicing the drums is practicing compassion, courage, and generosity. Music study provides an environment to develop confidence, creativity, and mindfulness and helps us know ourselves on a deeper level.
My students are extraordinary human beings. I guide them to seek out challenges with enthusiasm, and prepare them to successfully navigate and grow from a multitude of complex situations in music, and in life.

30 MIN - beginner
A 30-minute lesson is great for young emerging musicians who are looking to get started on their musical journey. Without such a big commitment of time, these action-packed sessions are a short but sweet taste of what is to come.
Recommended for ages 6+

45 MIN - intermediate
Optimized for the best learning experience. A 45min personalized lesson is designed and proven to get results. It’s the “sweet spot” for focus and growth. 1-on-1 and custom tailored to make sure each student’s individual goals are recognized, reached, and expanded.
Recommended for ages 10+
$90 each
60 MIN - ADVANCED
That extra 15 min can be the most transformative moments of a lesson. Increased time, concentration, and expectations make these lessons exceptionally harder. They are geared for those looking to really challenge themselves and craft to bring it the next level.
